Lions Clubs is known for providing service to the neediest and as part of its “Hunger project”, the Terai Annapurna Rasoi is a mobile food van that provides nutritious meal at Just Rs 5/- per plate. The Van is placed at various places in the city and serves close to 300 to 330 persons in one session. Several people from the society come forward to sponsor the project from time to time as they celebrate their birthday, anniversary or any other occasion by serving the needy.
